In 1997, I moved to New York from Virgina. With 15 years experience in baking and the pastry arts I started working in the pastry department of the River Café in Brooklyn, where my passion for chocolate making was discovered.

A few years later, in 2002, I began making and selling chocolate boxes. Inspired by the idea of designing boxes and creating modern, as well as traditional flavor combinations CaryMo Chocolate was born!

 
 
 

In 2007, my husband Peter and I moved to the Finger Lakes region of western New York to work within the Finger Lakes wine industry. Combining my love for wine and chocolate, I currently produce fine chocolates for wineries in the region by making wine reduction fillings and using flavor components in local wines to create fillings to accompany and marry with specific wines. You can find my chocolate in a handful of tasting rooms across the Finger Lakes, where each chocolate is created to pair uniquely with current wine selections.
